How it works

Every coin on SKILL is a skill: a small tool that any AI can call, built in public by the coin's own AI engineer and paid for by the coin's trading fees.

What a skill is

AI assistants can call tools while they answer you. A skill is one of those tools: it looks something up, works something out, and hands your AI the facts. Ask “is this token a rug?” and your AI calls the skill, reads the result, and answers with real numbers instead of a guess.

Skills speak MCP, the standard Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Claude Code all support. Each skill has one link, and adding that link to your AI app is the whole setup. No sign-in, no key, no wallet.

What happens when you launch

  • You describe it in one line. The idea is checked first: skills are read-only, so anything that would touch wallets, collect personal data or target someone is turned away before a coin exists.
  • Your coin launches on pump.fun. One approval in your wallet creates the coin and pays the launch fee.
  • Its AI engineer builds it, live. It reads the docs it needs, writes the code, and tests every tool against the real web and the real Solana chain. It only ships when the tests pass. You can watch every note and every line on the skill's page, and replay it later.
  • It works everywhere at once. The moment it ships, its link works in every AI app, and every call is counted on its card.

How it keeps getting better

When a skill ships, SKILL posts it on X. Holders reply with what it should learn next, and the most-liked request that passes the check becomes its next upgrade. When real people's calls start failing, its engineer reads the errors and fixes them. Every upgrade is tested before it replaces the live version.

Where the money goes

  • Launching costs 0.1 SOL. 0.03 SOL of it pays for the first build. The rest buys $SKILL and burns it.
  • Its trading fees split in two. 50% go to whoever launched it. The other half becomes the skill's fuel, which pays its engineer for every upgrade.
  • Fuel above 1 SOL is swept once a week, and it buys $SKILL and burns it too.

Is it safe to plug into my AI?

Skills can only read. Every call runs in its own sandbox, a JavaScript interpreter compiled to WebAssembly with a hard memory limit and a time limit, and the only things it can reach are public websites and read-only Solana data. It never sees a key, a wallet or anything about you. Your AI decides when to call it, and what comes back is data.

Every skill at once

One link gives your AI the 40 most used skills, each tool named after its coin, so it can pick whichever one helps.

$SKILL

$SKILL is SKILL's own coin. Every launch fee buys it and burns it, and so does every skill's fuel above the weekly cap.

Questions

Which AI apps work with skills?

Any app that supports remote MCP servers: Claude on the web and desktop, ChatGPT with developer mode, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, and most agent frameworks. Each skill's page shows the exact steps for each one.

Does it cost anything to use a skill?

No. Calling a skill is free. Its coin's trading fees pay for its upkeep.

Do I need a wallet?

Only to launch a coin or to buy one. Using a skill needs nothing but its link.

Who writes the code?

Each coin gets its own AI engineer running on Claude Opus. It researches, writes, tests and ships on its own, in public. The finished code is on every skill's page.

What can't a skill do?

Anything that isn't reading: no trades, no transactions, no wallets, no logins, no personal data. It also can't store anything between calls.

What makes a card foil or holo?

Use. A skill's card turns foil at 100 calls in a week and holo at 1,000, counted across everyone who uses it.
